All programs will run on a quarterly schedule to align with DOE programming. Saturday Art Club: Portfolio Edition
for artists in 6th-8th grades
Saturday Art Club: Portfolio Edition is a chance for older students to experiment and explore while working towards a portfolio that can be used for specialized high school applications.
These student-driven classes balance open studio time with guided explorations in a variety of media, and are co-planned by students and a professional Teaching Artist in accordance with the class’ interests. Possible units of study include drawing from observation, acrylic painting, relief printing, and sculpture using both traditional and found materials. Classes are capped at eight students to allow for social distancing, and outdoor time is incorporated whenever possible. Masks are required at all times.

Social Bubble Art Classes
Going DIY this school year? Get together with your pod and let us design an art workshop to complement whichever way your child is learning this fall. Choose from a portfolio-building class for serious artists, or an Art Club format where your child leads the way! Whatever you choose, your young artist will learn about artists and art techniques, as well as investigate materials, processes, collaboration, and creative risk-taking. Our teaching artists are also able to work with mixed ages, and integrate curricular connections across any subject, should you so choose. Classes are capped at eight students to allow for social distancing, and outdoor time is incorporated whenever possible. Masks are required at all times.
