ESS Art Club
Drop-in Art Class for Preteens + Teens!
Join us in our virtual studio for ESS Art Club! In this 90-minute class, you will learn about new artists and techniques, while sharing ideas and experimenting with your friends. Teaching artist Stefanie Lewin will guide you through a new experience each class, answering all of your art questions and challenging you to flex your creative muscles! Come each week, or drop-in whenever you are available.
+ Tuesdays 3pm-4:30pm EST
+ Ages 11-15
+ Donations appreciated, but not required.

TO SIGN UP FOR CLASS, parents or students fill out the registration form below; we then send an email to parents to authorize student participation. When parent replies, we will send the student and parent a detailed lesson plan and Zoom link to join us the day of the class. Donation not required to participate.

NEXT CLASS Tuesday, August 11th: Faces & Movement
Today we will return to drawing! We'll study faces and anatomy and practice drawing volume in order to better represent the planes of the face. We'll also talk about how artists show movement in two-dimensional work, looking at both fine art and the world of comics, manga, and anime for inspiration. We'll use what we learn to create our own graphic novels!
