Art After School at Greenpoint Reformed Church
for artists in K-5th grades
Greenpoint Reformed Church is located at 136 Milton St, between Manhattan Ave and Franklin St. Our programs at GRC support the Greenpoint Reformed Church Hunger Program. For more information about this neighborhood program and ways you can help, click here.
Let us fill your child's afternoons with art, materials, and big ideas! Each week we examine works of art and unlock the ideas and processes used by the artists to create them. Projects emphasize process, problem solving, and experimentation, and are designed in response to the students' interests.
Young artists collaborate and make their own work, and have "open studio" time to experiment with materials of their choosing. Class fees include all materials a sketchbook to keep. Each series culminates in an exhibition for family and friends to celebrate! Classes are capped at twelve students and at least two adults for plenty of one-on-one attention. Classes run from 3pm-5:30pm (pick up 5:15-5:30)
REDUCED TUITION AVAILABLE FOR ALL STUDENTS; ADDITIONAL FINANCIAL AID AVAILABLE by APPLICATION. PAYMENT PLANS AVAILABLE!
